Terrill Thompson, MSOD - Founder and Principal Terrill founded CTThompson Consulting in order to pursue a passion for building the capacity of progressive organizations, thereby increasing their efficiency and impact. Terrill has over ten years of professional nonprofit management, training, facilitation and moderation experience. Terrill works with a wide range of nonprofit and for profit organizations, from major corporations to small community groups, and leads capacity building workshops for audiences across the country. In addition to running CTThompson Consulting, Terrill is an associate consultant with the Nonprofit Center at La Salle University’s School of Business, an associate diversity consultant with The Kaleidoscope Group, LLC, an associate moderator with the Penn Project for Civic Engagement, and an associate leadership development and teambuilding facilitator with Fellowship Farm. Terrill also serves on the board of the Alliance for Nonprofit Management, is a member and former chair of the Delaware Valley Legacy Fund’s Outreach and Grantmaking Committee, and is a member of the Institute for Inclusion and the NTL Institute. Terrill is a qualified administrator and interpreter of the Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator® (MBTI) assessment and is the author of the Nonprofit Organizational Model©, the first organizational assessment model designed specifically for nonprofit organizations. Terrill is also the published author of The Struggles, Experiences and Needs of Children in LGBTQ Families. Prior to entering the organization development field, Terrill served as the executive director of Mountain Meadow, a diversity focused youth service organization. Mountain Meadow enjoyed unprecedented growth under Terrill's six year tenure. Terrill recruited and seated the organization's first board of directors; designed and implemented numerous structures and procedures; worked actively to increase the organization’s income by 150%25 in the first year alone; and with the resulting growth, expanded the organization's staff and programs. Terrill earned a Master’s Degree in Organization Development from American University, where Terrill’s commitment to social justice was recognized through receipt of a Segal-Seashore Fellowship. Terrill also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Peace and Global Studies from Earlham College.
